Xgimi has launched the RS30 Pro, the RS30 Pro Max, the RS30 Ultra and the RS30 Ultra Max. Expected to be released globally as the Horizon 30 series, these 4K laser models offer features like support for Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and AMD FreeSync Premium.

The Xgimi RS30 series projectors have been launched in China. The new range includes four models: the RS30 Pro, the RS30 Pro Max, the RS30 Ultra and the RS30 Ultra Max. It builds on the older RS20 series, which is known globally as the Horizon 20 (curr. $1,559 at Amazon).

Each Xgimi RS30 projector has a 4K resolution with a 300” maximum image size and 1.2-1.5 optical zoom. These DLP projectors use laser light sources, though with differing performance. The entry-level RS30 Pro is said to deliver up to 3,600 ISO lumens brightness, with a native 4,000:1 contrast ratio. The range-topping RS30 Ultra Max is almost twice as bright, with up to 6,800 ISO lumens brightness, and a 7,000:1 native contrast ratio.

Xgimi’s RS30 projectors have an integrated adjustable angle stand, and the image can be perfected with tools like keystone correction. They run on the brand’s GMUI 6.0 OS, and they support Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced. Users can customize the gaming experience, and these projectors are compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium. Plus, there are built-in Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and ports including HDMI 2.1 and USB.

In China, prices for the Xgimi RS30 projector start from CNY 7,499 (~$1,097). The range-topping RS30 Ultra Max is priced at CNY 11,999 (~$1,755). It remains to be seen when the Xgimi Horizon 30 projectors could be released globally.
