Anker retires Soundcore branding in favor of Anker Audio-Visual

Anker Innovations, the parent company for brands such as Anker, Eufy, Anker Solix, eufyMake, and Soundcore, has announced a major change to its Soundcore brand. The change, which was announced in China, reveals it is moving away from the Soundcore brand with immediate effect.
According to a press release shared across its social media channels, Anker Innovations revealed it is ditching the Soundcore brand in favor of Anker Sound & Video. The press statement also revealed that the account services and content updates for the new brand will now be in sync with the official Anker account.
While no reason was provided for the change, a look at the product portfolio under the Soundcore brand reveals that the name doesn't capture all of the products. Soundcore is best known for its audio products such as Bleutooth speakers, earbuds, and headphones. However, Anker also sells its Nebula projectors under the Soundcore name. Thus, by switching to Anker Sound & Video, both audio and video products are covered under the name name.
Anker adds that as it makes the transition to the new brand name, products carrying either Soundcore or Anker will be available on the market, so buyers should not be worried about a change in quality or a difference in function as both products are the same.
Interestingly, Anker Innovations hasn't made any announcement regarding the rebranding outside China. Nevertheless, we expect the change will eventually be carried out globally.
