Anker eufyMake E1 UV printer now in early access, perks and sale date revealed
Anker’s sub-brand eufyMake unveiled the E1 back in September of last year as the first desktop personal UV printer. At the time, it was introduced as a Kickstarter campaign and ended up becoming one of the most popular ones for Eufy. Now, just over six months later, the E1 is available in early access with sales starting early next month.
eufyMake E1 UV printer features and capabilities
The E1 is a fairly compact desktop machine, smaller than a standard enclosed core XY 3D printer. It uses UV ink to print flat or raised effects and images on pretty much any material. It features a 1,440 DPI capable nozzle with a maximum material thickness of 60 mm. For 3D textures (more like 2.5D), it can print up to 5 mm high. There are two sizes of flatbeds that can be used base on the size of the object and Eufy also makes a rotary attachment to print on glasses, mugs, tumblers, etc.
The printer uses a combination of Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y), Black (K), White (W), and Gloss (G) ink cartridges to create any and all colors. These can be used to print flat or embossed textures, as well as stickers, using the laminator accessory. The E1 also features a built in camera and cross laser system that helps with alignment of the print on the object, and allows the machine to use the exact height of the object. There is also a self-cleaning system that keeps the nozzle clean and clog free.
eufyMake E1 UV printer early access
The E1 is now available in early access and those who sign up between April 8 and May 5 can get up to $619 worth of benefits. Those who purchase the Basic bundle with just the E1 printer and an ink set will get extra white and glossy ink cartridges, free shipping protection, and $100 off eufyMake care service. Those who purchase the Deluxe Bundle which includes the laminating machine and roll to film attachment will get an extra set of the six cartridges as well as additional white and gloss cartridges. All other benefits of the Basic bundle are included as well.
eufyMake E1 UV printer price and availability
The Basic bundle is priced at $2,499 (currently discounted to $2,299) and the Deluxe bundle is priced at $3,299. The individual ink cartridges cost $43 each. The E1 will go on sale starting May 6 and the discounted Basic bundle price will be available then as well.
