New Sony WH-1000XX ultra-premium headphones pictured before global release

Sony is rumoured to be announcing a new pair of high-end over-ear wireless headphones later this month. In the meantime, it seems that a Hollywood actor has been pictured wearing the so-called 'WH-1000XX The ColleXion' before the Met Gala.
From the pictures below, it is evident that Damson Idris is wearing a pair of Sony over-ear headphones. However, their design differs from existing pairs like the recent WH-1000XM6 (curr. $428 on Amazon). For instance, a metal headband is visible throughout, which is missing on the WH-1000XM6 and its predecessors.
The same is true of how the arms sink into the earcups, rather than resting on them as with the WH-1000XM6. Moreover, Sony has surrounded the 3.5 mm jack with a metal casing too, in another change from the WH-1000XM6. Reportedly, the design changes result in the WH-1000XX The ColleXion weighing around 25% more than the WH-1000XM6 at 312 g.
Sony is said to have also returned to a non-foldable design, which we last saw with the WH-1000XM5. Currently, the company is expected to unveil its new headphones on May 19 for $649, €629 and £549.
