Edifier launches new wireless gaming headset with up to 305 hours of playtime

Edifier has released its latest wireless gaming headphones, the G5 Max, in the US. The most notable highlight of the wireless gaming headset is that it comes with a massive 2,000 mAh battery capacity. According to the company, the headphones can provide up to 305 hours of playback on a single charge.
At the heart of the G5 Max are 53 mm titanium-coated drivers equipped with advanced PEN titanium diaphragm technology. Plus, the titanium-coated drives are capable of reproducing high-resolution audio, with a claimed frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) at less than 1%. Backed by triple Hi-Res certifications, the company claims that these headphones can reproduce reference-grade sound with remarkable depth, accuracy, and detail.
Furthermore, the headset supports wireless connection over Bluetooth 6.0 using SBC and LHDC 5.0 codecs. Plus, there’s an option to pair the G5 Max with devices through the 2.4 GHz dongle, which keeps the audio latency low. The company has integrated dual ENC microphones alongside a detachable 9.75 mm unidirectional microphone. Moreover, the over-ear gaming headphones boast a 3D pivot-fit design, which is said to automatically adjust to different head shapes for a comfortable fit during extended gaming sessions.
The G5 Max is compatible with everything from PC and Mac to PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Other features include AI-enhanced voice capture and THX Spatial Audio+ with 7.1.4 virtual surround sound support.
Available in space grey and white colorways, the Edifier G5 Max wireless gaming headset is priced at $149.99. Interested buyers can now purchase the headset directly from Edifier’s official website and Amazon.
