It’s been a few years since beyerdynamic first launched a gaming headset. Over the years, the lineup has expanded with higher-end options. Now, the company has announced two new wireless gaming headsets in the MMX series that are more budget-friendly than the rest.

While the MMX 100 wireless is a closed-back headset, the MMX 130 wireless offers an open-back design for a wider soundstage. Both are powered by 40mm drivers, but the MMX 130 comes with a titanium coating on its driver. They also offer tri-mode connectivity with 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 6, and wired mode. This makes them compatible with PC, consoles, and mobile devices. beyerdynamic promises less than 30ms of latency using the 2.4 GHz dongle.
For comfort, beyerdynamic has used soft velour ear pads, and the earcups themselves fold flat. The battery life is claimed to be 80 hours, and the battery is replaceable. Communications are handled by the flexible and detachable Meta Voice microphone.

Both the headsets will be available in black and Arctic White colors. The MMX 100 wireless is priced at $150 and will be available in September. The MMX 130 is priced at $180 and will be available a month later, in October.
