Sony WH-CH730N headphones leak as cheaper alternative to popular WH-1000XM6

Almost a month has passed since initial details about a new pair of Sony WH-CH7 series headphones emerged online. As we discussed at the time, import databases suggested that Sony intended to launch the WH-CH730N in at least five colours. Now, the same headphones have started appearing at retailers across Europe.

Specifically, we have found listings in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Portugal. As the screenshots below show, pricing currently varies between €98.26 and €149.99 in the Eurozone. For context, the WH-CH720N arrived in early 2023 for €149 (curr. $97 on Amazon). Hence, we suspect that the WH-CH730N will likely match its predecessor in this regard. Regardless, the WH-CH730N will be much cheaper than the WH-1000XM6, which currently cost €333 in the Eurozone. 

Additionally, the listings confirm that the WH-CH730N will launch in Beige, Black, Blue, Pink and White colours. Moreover, some describe Bluetooth, 3.5 mm and USB Type-C connectivity, as well as a 220 g weight and active noise cancellation (ANC) support. On top of that, the early listings indicate that Sony will launch the WH-CH730N on October 15. However, pre-orders may not ship until October 20. Full technical details about device picture remain unknown for now, though.
