FiiO QX11 launches with dual flagship DACs, noise cancellation, and per-genre EQ presets

FiiO has officially released the QX11 — this effectively closes out one of the longer waits in its 2026 lineup. The company's own January product schedule flagged the dongle as likely to slip to summer, and a subsequent roadmap pinned it to May. It has arrived in late August instead.

The QX11 replaces the KA17 at the top of FiiO's mobile dongle range. It seems like the QX line will gradually supersede the older KA series. FiiO founder and CEO James Chung characterized it as an "incremental update over the KA17". It comes with microphone compatibility and reduced power consumption as its main improvements.

One of the biggest additions here is a dedicated gaming mode. FiiO pitches the QX11 as a HiFi DAC/amp and a gaming sound card in one — you can seamlessly switch between the two. It sports a built-in microphone, supports 3.5mm in-line controls, and applies AI ENC environmental noise cancellation for voice chat. Sound presets are tuned separately for FPS, ACT, MOBA and rhythm games.

On the audio side, two flagship ES9069Q DAC chips handle up to 768 kHz/32-bit PCM and native DSD512, which feeds four TI operational amplifiers wired in parallel. All of this happens inside an aluminium alloy and forged carbon fiber chassis. The company quotes desktop mode output of up to 800 mW + 800 mW, which is much higher than the KA17's 650 mW + 650 mW using the same dual-DAC arrangement.

Two USB-C ports are included for 45 W PD charging while the unit is in use, so a connected phone or laptop can draw power without interrupting playback. An Auto EQ function (available through both a browser interface and FiiO's app) automatically applies correction curves for specific headphone models.

The QX11 is available through FiiO's official AliExpress store in Gold and Dark Green. Retail listings place it at $169.99.
