Fiio Snowsky Beatbox CD player arrives with CD ripper and speakers supporting LDAC input

Fiio has launched the Snowsky Beatbox multi-function player for music enthusiasts who enjoy collecting and listening to compact discs. The portable CD player measures 190 x 190 x 36.5 (7.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 in.) and weighs 615 g (1.36 lbs.).

Owners can connect 3.5 mm and USB-C wired headphones, as well as Bluetooth wireless headphones like the Fiio EH11 (sold here on Amazon), to the Snowsky Beatbox to enjoy music from CD, USB, Aux input, and LDAC Bluetooth sources. The wired outputs offer a signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB and THD below 0.02%.

Users can control the CD player using the physical buttons located along the edge or the included infrared remote control. The front face of the player can be swapped out for custom panels, enabling each owner to customize its appearance, especially when wall-mounted using the magnetic mount located on the back. A stand can also be attached to the player using this mount.

The Beatbox comes with two 3-watt drivers and one 5-watt woofer, enabling its use as a Bluetooth speaker when connected to external audio sources, such as the Fiio Snowsky Disc DAP (sold here on Amazon). It can also play music from radio stations thanks to its built-in FM tuner. 

The player is rated for up to 8 hours of playtime before its removable 3,350 mAh 18650 battery needs to be swapped for a charged battery or recharged in about 2 hours, says Fiio.
