Fiio Snowsky Disc DAP arrives with Hi-Res Audio and balanced headphone support

Fiio has launched the Snowsky Disc digital audio player for high-resolution music enthusiasts who own balanced headphones. The petite Snowsky Disc DAP measures 68 × 68 × 12.9 mm (2.7 x 2.7 x 0.5) and weighs 77.2 g (2.7 oz.).
Owners can connect 3.5 mm unbalanced and 4.4 mm balanced wired headphones as well as Bluetooth wireless headphones to the Snowsky Disc to enjoy high-resolution music, with support for Hi-Res Audio, DSD128, and 32-bit 768 kHz PCM music playback. The wired outputs have a signal-to-noise ratio of over 129 dB and THD of less than 0.0003%.
The USB-C port can be used to connect the Snowsky Disc to a computer as an external sound card or to external DACs and headphone amplifiers. The Disc also has a coaxial output for connection to home audio systems, and it has AirPlay and Roon support for wireless streaming across home speakers.
Users can control the DAP using the 1.8-inch touchscreen, which can display a rotating album cover during playback to simulate the look of a spinning record. The player is rated for up to 12 hours of playtime before its 1,450 mAh battery needs recharging, says Fiio.
Readers can buy the Fiio Snowsky Disc DAP for $87.99 on Amazon in black, blue, or pink.
