Amazfit wearable gets sleep related improvements in new update

The Amazfit Helio Strap is receiving another software update. Firmware version 3.11.0.1 is the first 2026 release for the wearable, arriving almost two months after version 3.7.0.1, which added a wide range of workout modes.
With firmware version 3.11.0.1, reported on Reddit, users of the Amazfit Helio Strap get two improvements. Firstly, the sleep recognition algorithm is said to have been optimized for increased sleep detection and sleep stage accuracy. However, Amazfit notes that the overall number of periods of awakeness may increase as a result of this change. At the same time, the chance of a nap being recorded incorrectly has decreased.
Secondly, the Helio Strap’s automatic activity recognition function has been enhanced. This is said to lower the number of misidentified activities. The final note in the change log states that Amazfit has addressed a problem with the wearable’s Bluetooth connection. Unfortunately, the company does not provide further details explaining this bug fix.
Firmware version 3.11.0.1 seems to be rolling out in phases to users of the Amazfit Helio Strap (curr. €99.90 at Amazon DE). When it is available in your region, you will be able to download this update via the Zepp smartphone app.
