Amazfit smartwatches get new heart rate related Mini App

Three new Mini Apps for Amazfit smartwatches were recently announced by Zepp Health. Now available from the brand’s Mini App Store, they should be compatible with many Amazfit smartwatch models, including the T-Rex 3 (curr. $249.98 at Amazon).
The most popular of the three Mini Apps is Heart Trace, currently in second position on the Zepp OS Weekly Top 50 Downloaded Apps Chart. This is a live pulse monitor, allowing users to view heart rate data collected by their smartwatch in real time. Measurements are displayed on a dynamic pulse graph, which is described by the developer as “an easy-to-read, fluid line chart”.
There are also two new games for users of Amazfit wearables. The first is Mini 8-Ball, where you can play a game of 8-Ball pool against an AI generated player on your watch. The pool cue’s angle can be adjusted using the smartwatch’s crown, and the power is controlled with a touch input. The second is Quick Math, a brain training app where users receive a score for solving equations in a fixed period of time.
The Zepp OS apps chart is still topped by Remotify, an app which provides remote music playback controls for the Spotify smartphone app. Amazfit smartwatch users can download any of these Mini Apps from the Mini App Store in the Zepp app by going to Profile > Select your device > App Store.
