The Amazfit Helio Strap has received another software update. Version 3.7.0.1 is currently rolling out to users of the wearable, which was released earlier in 2025.
Software version 3.7.01 has been reported on Reddit to be a 3.70MB file. It brings a host of new workout modes to the Helio Strap. The 29 new options include Pool Swimming, Rowing Machine, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Boxing, Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Jump Rope. The complete list of new activities has yet to be revealed. However, it appears that Golf is not one of these modes.
On top of this, users of the Amazfit Helio Strap can now create a shortcut to access their frequently used workout modes. You can set-up a list of favourite workout modes in the Zepp app, meaning there are fewer taps required to start your activity. Plus, the activity detection algorithm, which is used to automatically start recording some activities, is said to have been improved.
This version 3.7.0.1 appears to be rolling out in phases to users of the Amazfit Helio Strap (curr. $99.00 at Amazon). It has already reached some users in countries like the US and Germany, though when it will be available for everyone is unclear. As usual, the update will be installed via the Zepp smartphone app.
