A new Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch update has been reported by users on Reddit. The last release for this wearable, version 3.30.0.2, arrived at the end of October 2025. A similar update was recently pushed to the cheaper Balance XT model.
With the latest release, version 3.35.0.5, the Amazfit Balance 2 is said to get two new workout modes. The first is Rucking, with users able to enter the weight of their backpack, and the second is Mountain hiking. There are also two new BioCharge related features, a BioCharge trend chart and a Morning card for a daily snapshot of your energy level. Plus, a new Silent icon can be found in the Control Center.
Balance 2 smartwatch users can now take screenshots by pressing the crown and the lower button simultaneously. Captures are automatically saved to the linked smartphone. Zepp Health also says that it has worked on Activity reminders, resolving an issue that could cause unexpected pushes. The Outdoor Run algorithm has been optimized for energy efficiency, and the Portuguese language mode has been improved. The data source used for Weather, as well as its refresh logic, is said to have been enhanced, as have icons on maps. Finally, clearing all in the Notifications Center will not automatically return the user to the watch face.
Software version 3.35.0.5 is likely rolling out in phases to users of the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch (curr. $299.99 at Amazon), starting in China, the US and Canada, and reaching other users in the coming weeks. When it is available in your region, you will be able to trigger the installation through the Zepp app.
