The Amazfit Active 2 Round, Active 2 Premium Round and Active 2 Square are currently receiving a new update: software version 6.7.0.1. This release brings the hotly anticipated BioCharge feature to these wearables, as well as new third-party integrations and a sleep-related improvement.

A new update is currently rolling out for the Active 2 Round, Active 2 Premium Round and Active 2 Square smartwatches. Software version 6.7.0.1 arrived a couple of months after the previous release, version 6.3.8.3, which added advanced running metrics and new heart rate related icons.

Many Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch users will be pleased to see the arrival of the BioCharge feature, an energy level metric which replaces the older Readiness function. These wearables also get new integrations with third-party apps like Training Peaks and Intervals.icu. Plus, Active 2 watches can now be paired with a Stryd running power meter.

The software version 6.7.0.1 change log states that the algorithm behind the smartwatches’ Sleep Score has been optimized to enhance its accuracy. Plus, Active 2 users can now double-press the lower button to access shortcuts. Amazfit also indicates that there are other improvements for the system, without going into detail.

As usual, software version 6.7.0.1 appears to be rolling out in phases to users of the Active 2 Round (curr. $99.994 at Amazon), Active 2 Premium Round and Active 2 Square smartwatches. On Reddit, it has been reported as received by customers in countries including the US, the UK and Ireland.
