The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch is receiving another update. Software version 4.3.8.2 follows the December release of version 4.1.6.7. This earlier update brought new features linked to the BioCharge as well as improvements for wrist raise-to-wake.
With software version 4.3.8.2, reported on Reddit, users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro get two new metrics for Outdoor Running and Trail Running: Equivalent Pace and Average Equivalent Pace. Users of the Indoor Cycling activity can now get data from a connected speed sensor, cadence sensor or power meter. Plus, there is the ability to manually input the distance travelled after completing this type of workout.
The T-Rex 3 Pro’s Zepp Coach feature can now skip today’s workout with one tap, and similarly adjust the weekly workout schedule. The maximum support distance for an Outdoor Cycling route has been increased to 100 km, and the HYROX Zone time is now shown in the Zepp App’s workout timeline for HYROX Race workouts.
On top of this, there is a new voice memo recording feature during workouts. There are also optimizations for the altitude algorithm and an improvement for the segment count display on the lap alert page mid-workout. You can find the complete release notes in the screenshot below. It is unclear when software version 4.3.8.2 will reach all users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro (curr. $379.99 at Amazon). When it is available in your region, you will be able to install this update via the Zepp app.
