The Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch has received another update. The latest release, reported on Reddit, is software version 3.8.0.1; it follows the version 3.3.12.4 release from October 2025, which brought advanced running metrics and an ultra-marathon activity.
Many users of the Amazfit Bip 6 will be excited to see the addition of the BioCharge energy level metric with firmware version 3.8.0.1. This replaces the older Readiness feature, and is designed to help users decide when and how to train. However, it is worth noting that some earlier units of the wearable appear to be missing BioCharge after this update. This is a known issue, with users advised to contact Amazfit to request a replacement unit.
Other features included with software version 3.8.0.1 include support for integrations with third-party apps like Training Peaks and Intervals.icu, as well as the ability to connect a Stryd running power meter. There is also a new indoor rock climbing workout, and the Sleep Score algorithm is said to have been optimized for enhanced accuracy. On top of this, there is a new customizable shortcut when users double-press the lower button.
It is unclear how long the phased rollout of version 3.8.01 will take to reach all users of the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch (curr. $64.99 at Amazon). When it is available in your region, you will be able to download the update via the Zepp app.
