A new Amazfit smartwatch appears to be on the way. The company has already released several new wearables this year, including the Active 2 series, the Balance 2, the Bip 6 and the T-Rex 3 Pro (48 mm Tactical Black curr. $379.99 at Amazon).
Now, a model referred to as “A2557 (Smart Watch)” has appeared in the database of the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). The wearable gained the relevant certification on November 25th. Several releases from earlier in 2025 appeared in the SIRIM database between three and six weeks before they were released in various countries worldwide. This suggests that the new Amazfit smartwatch could be released later in 2025, or early in 2026.
The SIRIM database entry does not reveal any details about the upcoming Amazfit smartwatch. It could be that this is a new watch in the Cheetah series of running wearables, or the premium Falcon series, given that these ranges have not been refreshed for some time. However, we will have to wait for an official announcement for the Zepp Health team to find out more information about this latest Amazfit smartwatch.
