Casio's collaborative vintage watches with British design house Liberty London are now officially on sale in the US. These limited-edition models, the AQ230EBLT-1A and AQ230ELT-7A, feature Liberty’s signature Paisley Fanfare pattern laser-etched across both the dial and the bracelet. This is the first time these models are being sold directly through Casio’s US site, after an earlier UK release.
These watches are based on Casio’s cult-favorite AQ-230 - a slim, rectangular analog-digital combo that’s earned a following over the years. The Liberty editions use this form by covering nearly every visible surface in Liberty’s swirling artwork. The band, clasp, dial, and even the case back carry engraved details. The metal bracelet of the AQ230EBLT-1A in particular has a dark finish with black ion plating and gray accents, giving it a stealthy, ornate look. In contrast, the AQ230ELT-7A has a silver tone from top to bottom, including the dial, and shows the same design work with less contrast but more shine.
In terms of specs, both watches have the standard AQ-230 feature set: dual time, stopwatch, daily alarm, auto calendar, and 12/24-hour time formats. The analog portion shows hours and minutes, while the digital screen displays time, date, and seconds. They’re powered by a quartz movement and rated water-resistant, with a projected battery life of three years. They also come in themed presentation boxes that mirror the engraved patterns seen on the watches themselves.
Pricing is set at $120 for the silver AQ230ELT-7A and $140 for the gunmetal AQ230EBLT-1A. Both are now available directly through Casio’s online store.
