Casio watches with colorful digital display on the way to Europe

Casio has announced that the AE-1500WHC-1AV and AE-1500WHC-8AV watches will be released in Europe. Leaked at a retailer earlier this year, these Timeless Collection digital watches are already available in the US.

In countries like the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany, the Casio AE-1500 series will be available for €49.90 at the brand’s online store. The AE-1500WHC-1AV has a green display, while the AE-1500WHC-8AV has an orange display, both with black resin cases and straps. While the exact release date has yet to be announced, prospective customers are invited to sign up to receive an email notification at launch; you can do this from each product page.

The Casio AE-1500 is a multifunctional watch supporting dual time zones. The model offers tools like hourly time signals, five alarms, a timer and a precise stopwatch. The calendar is fully automatic to the year 2099, and an LED backlight should help you to read the display in low lighting. Plus, these watches are water resistant to 100 m and should run for around 10 years on the CR2032 battery. Casio has yet to announce plans to release these watches in the UK.
