Casio AE-1500WHC watches with colorful digital displays on the way

Two new Casio Standard AE-1500 watches have been spotted at a European retailer. These AE-1500WHC digital watches each feature a round, colored digital display, with many of the same features as older products in this series.

The Casio AE-1500WHC-1AV has a black resin casing and strap with a green display, while the Casio AE-1500WHC-8AV has a gray body and strap, and an orange display. Both are listed at David et Philly in France, with the product pages seemingly revealing many of their specifications, including the measurements: 54.4 x 51.2 x 15.7 mm (~2.1 x 2.0 x 0.6 inches).

Casio’s AE-1500WHC watches are said to display the time in 12 or 24 hour formats, with the digital display also showing the day of the week and the date. There appear to be tools like a 1/100th second stopwatch, an up to 24-hour countdown timer and five daily alarms. Plus, there should be an LED backlight to help you read the display in low lighting, and these watches are likely to be water resistant to 10 ATM.

The Casio Standard AE-1500WHC-1AV and AE-1500WHC-8AV watches are now available to pre-order at David et Philly for €49.90 each. According to the retailer, these products will be released on December 15th. However, it is worth noting that Casio has not confirmed the launch of this new AE-1500 in Europe or any other markets.
