Two new Casio G-Shock watches are rumored to be launching in the near future. These digital timepieces are said to be the latest releases from the brand to celebrate Japanese culture. They follow older products which were linked to Edo-period artist Katsushika Hokusai and shiba inu dogs.
The two models are the G-Shock DW-5600RGM-1 and the G-Shock DW-6900RGM-5. Reported by Casio blog Great G-Shock World, these products have been spotted in lists of items which are excluded from rewards schemes linked to the brand. Rumors suggest that the ‘RGM’ part of the name refers to an origami themed design.
It has also been suggested that the DW-5600RGM-1 and the DW-6900RGM-5 could have a similar design to the popular Manga watches, the GA-2100MNG-2A and GA-2100MNG-7A, released in 2024. However, Casio has yet to officially announce these two new watches, and images of the products have yet to appear.
The Casio G-Shock DW-5600RGM-1 and DW-6900RGM-5 watches are rumored to launch in November 2025. It is unclear how much these products could cost, and whether there will be a limited number of units available. Given that the older Shiba Inu and Hokusai inspired watches were released in countries like the US, the UK and Germany, it seems likely that these digital watches could reach customers in North America and Europe at some point in the future.
