New Casio watches with slim casing and sun-ray dial now available in the UK

The Casio Vintage AQ-240E-3A, AQ-240E-7A, and AQ-240EG-9A watches are now available in the UK. These analog-digital timepieces were unveiled earlier in October 2025, when they launched in Japan.

You can now buy the Casio Vintage AQ-240E-3A (blue-green) and AQ-240E-7A (silver) watches in the UK for £54.90 each. Both of these models have a silver colored chrome-plated resin casing and a matching stainless steel strap with an adjustable clasp. The AQ-240EG-9A is a more expensive model with an all-gold colored design; it is priced at £74.90 in this market.

Casio describes the AQ-240E as having “retro character” and a “modern design”. The slim rectangular casing measures 40.9 x 35.8 x 8.1 mm (~1.6 x 1.4 x 0.3 inches), and the watches weigh 51 g (~1.8 oz). Each has a sun-ray dial which catches the light, with two analog hands said to remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month. The time in a second time zone can be displayed on the narrow digital display, found in the six o’clock position. Other features include a 1/100th second stopwatch, hourly time signals and a daily alarm.

Casio has yet to announce plans to bring these new Vintage AQ-240E to other European countries or to North America.
