Casio has released two Edifice watches, the EFB-730D-2BV and the EFB-730D-3AV, in Europe. They are currently available in one country, and on the way to more. Rumors about these analog timepieces started earlier this year when images were leaked on social media.
In the UK, you can now buy the Casio Edifice EFB-730D-2BV and EFB-730D-3AV watches for £139 each. They are available at the brand’s online store, with free delivery in two to four working days. These two Edifice products have also been listed at the brand’s online stores in countries like the Netherlands, France and Germany. In the EU, the watches will cost €149, though a release date for this market has yet to be announced. However, you can register on the product page to get an email when they launch.
These Edifice EFB-730D watches have colorful dials, light blue for the EFB-730D-2BV and light green for the EFB-730D-3AV. Both variants have inset 3-6-9 dials in a darker shade, and silver and black elements. They also have a sapphire crystal, and silver colored stainless steel casing and straps, measuring 47 × 40 × 11 mm (~1.9 x 1.6 x 0.4 inches) and weighing 136 g (~4.8 oz).
Casio’s Edifice EFB-730D watches have three analog hands, which should remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month. These timepieces also feature a 1-second stopwatch, with two of the smaller indicators counting the seconds and minutes. The final dial shows the time in a 24-hour format. There is also a basic date display, and these watches are water resistant to 100 m. It remains to be seen whether or when the Casio Edifice EFB-730D-2BV and EFB-730D-3AV watches will be released in the US.
