The Casio G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 and GBD-200-7 watches are coming to Europe. These new G-Squad watches were spotted at a retailer in July 2025, and both products have since been released in Japan.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 (black) and GBD-200-7 (white) at its online stores in countries like the Netherlands, France and Germany. Here, each watch is priced at €149 and marked as “coming soon”. In the meantime, prospective customers are invited to sign up to get an email notification when they are in stock.
Where the new G-Squad GBD-200 series watches differ from older versions is with the memory-in-pixel (MIP) display. Here, the positive mode delivers a light background; all earlier variants have a dark background display. According to Casio, this positive display improves readability in brighter conditions.
These G-Shock GBD-200 watches are designed to help you track your training. They can measure your distance, speed and pace, and also calculate the number of calories burned during your workout. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, this data can be transferred to the Casio Watches app, where you can also find functionality like smartphone GPS distance correction and a phone finder.
On-watch tools include a countdown timer, a stopwatch and four daily alarms, and it also supports 38 world time zones. Casio estimates that the CR2032 battery should allow the watch to run for up to two years. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether or not the Casio G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 and GBD-200-7 watches will also be released in the US and the UK.
