Casio's latest limited edition G-Shock isn’t just another colorful take on the classic 6900 series - it’s an exclusive collaboration with NYC designer Jae Tips, revealed for the first time at ComplexCon Las Vegas. Those attending the event this year get first dibs, and from the looks of it (and going by comments on social media), demand for this model will likely be high.
The watch is unmistakably "G-Shock" in form but draped in Jae Tips' playful, signature palette. The resin case sports a vivid blue finish with a matte red "G" button and light rose buttons, while the dial has pastel flower motifs on the iconic triple subdials - which is in line with Jae Tips' overall design aesthetic. The custom text etched below the digital display reads "Forever on some fly".
The strap also matches the rest of the design with transparent, color-fading segments capped with additional hot-pink accents, making this arguably one of the most eye-catching G-Shock watches of the year. The packaging is also thematic - the watch arrives in a round pink tin, stamped with a "Jae Tips" logo and a flower.
Availability is just as exclusive. The G-Shock × Jae Tips collab is being sold for $150 exclusively at ComplexCon Las Vegas (10/25-10/26), at the Savior Island booth. There’s no announcement yet for online or wider retail release. For those outside Las Vegas, patience or aftermarket markups might be the only ways in - for now, at least. If you’re into G-Shocks with genuine streetwear pedigree and a vivid design, this should make its mark. If you're looking for a more toned-down model, you can check out the DW-6900G-1VQ on Amazon.
