Another new set of in-person shots of Casio’s Pro Trek 30th anniversary watches give us a glimpse at cleaner detailing, a sharper dial finish, and textured straps with subtle upgrades.

Casio’s Pro Trek 30th anniversary models - the analog-digital PRW-61ANS-3 and full-digital PRG-340ANS-3 - have resurfaced once again in a new round of hands-on images, and while the older shots were quite descriptive, these new shots give us a vastly improved look yet at the real-world finishing, strap embossing, and subtle contrasts in materials.

The PRW-61ANS-3, under closer lighting, reveals a rich olive-green dial with a lot of depth. The gold vapor-deposited indices and hands catch the light with a gleam, which in turn makes the analog elements pop without coming across as too reflective. Even the digital sub-dial sits cleaner now. It is framed more crisply within the lower part of the dial. It's also easier to spot the radial texture under the Pro Trek logo.

The PRG-340ANS-3 is the more utilitarian of the two, but what’s new here is the clear visibility of the duplex LCD's two-tier layout - especially in this better-lit environment. The compass directions on the top layer and primary digits underneath no longer feel cramped, and the backlight test shows that legibility is strong even with the pale green tint of the screen.

What really stands out in this new image batch is the strap treatment. A closer look at the molded resin reveals sharper year markings in the Pro Trek timeline, from the earliest models in the ‘90s through the iconic releases of the 2000s. The font size and stamping quality seem consistent across both models, but the olive hue of the PRW-61ANS-3’s band looks to be a touch deeper under natural light - possibly due to material texture. The gold-tone buckle and keeper hardware come off a bit less flashy now as well.

Another small but noteworthy detail: the caseback engraving on the PRG-340ANS-3 has a more refined 30th Anniversary logo than previously visible, with clear type and solid centering. It looks intentionally bold, most likely to cement the commemorative value of the model.

No new technical info has come up this time around as well, and release timelines are unchanged.
