Black Friday may be over, but there’s still big money off several Casio and G-Shock watches. If you’re looking for a serious outdoor watch with solar charging and ABC sensors (altimeter, barometer, and compass), the Casio Pro Trek PRW6900YB-3 is worth taking a closer look at, especially now that it has dropped to its all-time low price.
For a limited time period, you can grab Casio’s new Pro Trek PRW6900YB-3 watch with an octagonal metal case for just $312, a whopping 40% off its usual $520 list price. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for this particular model, handily beating its previous all-time low of $410 we saw in October.
The Pro Trek PRW-6900YB-3 is a high-utility watch, and it comes equipped with the brand's signature Triple Sensor tech, giving you direct access to a digital compass, barometer/altimeter, and thermometer on your wrist—essential measurements for tracking weather changes or navigating off-grid. All of these data points are displayed in real-time on the small, inset dot-matrix display.
The PRW-6900YB taps into the bushcraft theme and features a design inspired by camping gear. It sports a striking octagonal metal case with a forged stainless steel bezel featuring sharp, tapered edges meant to resemble a wood axe. Meanwhile, the matte, textured dial mimics the surface of a cast-iron Dutch oven. Casio even shaped the indicator hand like a camping knife and gave the second hand an orange tip to evoke the glowing embers of a campfire.
The watch is fitted with a khaki Cordura re/cor cloth band that has been treated with a flame-retardant. It’s designed to shrug off burn marks from cooking sparks or fire pits. And it’s incredibly lightweight at 67g, thanks in large part to the bio-based resin case and case back.
Like other Pro Trek models, this one comes equipped with Tough Solar charging and supports Multiband 6 atomic timekeeping, meaning it can automatically sync the time when within range of a radio signal in supported regions. There’s no Bluetooth connectivity, so you won’t be able to sync altitude and temperature logs to your phone. But you can save up to 30 altitude records, including cumulative ascent and descent, on the watch itself.
