Casio has officially unveiled a new limited-edition G-Shock collaboration with Sole DXB. This is the first partnership between Casio’s shock-resistant watch brand and the Dubai-based sneaker and street culture platform. The watch has been revealed through G-Shock Middle East’s official Instagram.
The collaboration uses G-Shock's square digital case. From the product images, the watch features a matte black resin case and strap, alongside a dark, low-contrast digital display. The bezel carries the standard "Protection" and "G-Shock" markings, while the strap is co-branded with "Sole DXB" text, with stylized Arabic script printed along the lower strap section.
According to the official description, the design is inspired by Dubai’s desert landscape. The watch has visual references to sand dunes and the calm atmosphere of the desert at dawn. All this is reflected in the muted black and grey tones, surface textures, and the restrained overall finish rather than bold accent colours which are pretty common seen in other G-Shock collabs.
The watch should retain the core features associated with this line of digital models, including shock resistance, a digital time display with day and date, alarm indicators, stopwatch and backlight controls, as visible from the screen layout and button labeling. No unique module or functional changes have been explicitly showcased in the launch material.
Sole DXB, founded in Dubai, is best known for its annual street culture festival that brings together sneakers, music, art, and fashion, alongside year-round retail and cultural projects in the region. The brand has become a key name in Middle Eastern sneaker and streetwear culture.
At the time of launch, Casio has not disclosed pricing, production numbers, or a detailed regional availability list. However, based on the announcement source and branding, the watch is expected to be limited in quantity and primarily targeted at the Middle East market.
