The Casio G-Shock MRGB2000KT-3A watch is now available at third-party retailers in the US. This limited edition timepiece has already been officially launched in countries such as Japan and the UK.
Now, customers in the US can buy the G-Shock MRGB2000KT-3A watch at retailers like Arizona Fine Time for $8,000. This premium timepiece can also be purchased through marketplaces like Chrono24, where prices start from $6,242.
Casio’s G-Shock MRGB2000KT-3A watch has a dark blue-green design, similar to the color of kurogane-iro, heated iron. There is a DLC-coated titanium bezel in this shade, four emerald-set bezel screws, and a matching Dura Soft strap. The bezel features a phoenix motif, engraved by metalsmith Kobayashi Masao; it is inspired by a tsuba, the iron guard of a Japanese sword. Other design features include copper colored casing and an arrow-patterned dial.
This MRGB2000 model is a Bluetooth watch with features like automatic time adjustments. The radio-controlled (Multiband 6) timepiece features three analog hands, supporting 27 time zones. Thanks to a smaller inset dial, users can view the time in two zones simultaneously. There is also a stopwatch, a timer and a daily alarm. Plus, it supports Tough Solar charging, and a power-saving mode helps to extend the battery life further.
It is unclear when the Casio G-Shock MRGB2000KT-3A watch could be officially launched in the US, and how many pieces will be available in this market. Due to the hand-engraved bezel, only 800 units have been made.
