Casio G-Shock patterned metal bezel watches now available in Europe

Two of the Casio G-Shock Modern Industrial GM-5600 and GM-2100 watches have been released in various European countries. The series launched in Japan several weeks ago, and these products are already available in other markets like the US.

The G-Shock Modern Industrial watches have monochromatic designs, with a textured metal bezel. The GM-5600M-1 is a digital watch with a black background display, a silver tone stainless steel bezel and a black urethane band. The GM-2100M-1A is a hybrid watch, with a black dial, a black background inset display, a silver colored bezel and the same black strap. Other design features across both models include red accents and openings in the bezel to show the center case. 

These Casio G-Shock watches have many of the same features. For example, they both offer a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and an alarm. Plus, they can be illuminated with an LED backlight, making it easier for the wearer to tell the time in low lighting. On top of this, each model is water resistant up to 200 m.

At the Casio online store in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, you can now buy the Casio G-Shock GM-2100M-1A watch for €229. Similarly, the G-Shock GM-5600M-1 is available for €209. These two products can only be purchased by Casio ID members; you can sign up for a free Casio ID account on the brand’s website. 

Whether or when the two other watches in the Modern Industrial series, the GM-2100BM-1A and the GM-5600BM-1, with black ion-plated elements, could be released in this market remains to be seen.
