Casio G-Shock textured metal bezel watches now available in US

Casio has released four new monochromatic G-Shock watches with metal bezels in the US. The brand describes the range as having a “modern industrial theme”, with a minimalist design. These products are already available in Japan, having been launched there several weeks ago.

You can now buy the Casio G-Shock GM2100M-1A (silver bezel and casing, black strap) and GM2100BM-1A (silver bezel, black casing and strap) watches for $250 and $280, respectively. The Casio G-Shock GM5600M-1 (silver bezel and casing, black strap) and GM5600BM-1 (silver bezel, black casing and strap) retail for $220 and $260, respectively. 

Each of these Casio G-Steel watches features a textured stainless steel bezel, with openings that reveal its shock resistant structure. Another design feature is a pop of red for a function label. The digital GM5600 watches feature a black display with light figures, while the hybrid GM2100 watches have a black analog dial and the same dark inset displays. Each version is accompanied by a textured urethane band.

Features of the G-Shocks include a countdown timer, hourly time signals, an alarm and a 1/100th second stopwatch. Plus, they offer fully automatic calendars and are water resistant to 200 m. The Super Illuminator high-brightness LED ensures the watch is readable even in the dark. Plus, the GM2100 should run for around three years and the GM5600 for five years on their batteries. Casio recently announced plans to release these Modern Industrial watches in European countries like France and Germany in December 2025, though they have yet to be listed on the brand’s website.
