Following the European launch, Casio has now officially unveiled its latest GMW-BZ5000 series watches in the US market. Unlike the UK market with silver and black models, Casio has introduced three models under the GMW-BZ5000 series, including the G-Shock GMW-BZ5000D-1 (silver), the GMW-BZ5000BD-1 (black), and the GMW-BZ5000GD-9 (gold). The watches are now available for purchase at select jewelers nationwide. Speaking of online availability, the models will be available via G-Shock’s official website beginning February 2026 for $660 - $720.
The Casio GMW-BZ5000 is a full metal watch, which features a stainless steel case and a solid metal strap with a one-touch 3-fold clasp. Dimensionally, it measures 13 mm (0.5 inches) in thickness and weighs around 172 grams (0.37 lbs). Under the hood, the digital watch is powered by Casio’s tough solar, offering up to 6 months of runtime with normal use.
Interestingly, the model supports Bluetooth connectivity, which further allows users to tweak the watch’s settings via the Casio Watches app. Other features include shock-resistant construction, Multiband 6 atomic timekeeping, stopwatch, countdown timer, five alarms, full auto calendar, super illuminator LED light, and world time across 38 time zones.
On top of that, it also offers multiple layouts for the digital display. The watch features 200 meters (20 bar) of water resistance. You can learn more about the GMW-BZ5000 series watches through Casio’s official website.
