Casio has released the G-Shock x Charles Darwin Foundation watches in the US. These products have been available in other markets such as the EU, the UK and Japan for several weeks. This is the fourth collaboration between the watch brand and the science and conservation organization.
You can now buy the Casio G-Shock x Charles Darwin Foundation GAB2100DF watches at the brand’s online store in the US for $200 each. The GAB2100DF-1A has a black and yellow color scheme, inspired by the Galápagos Albatross, and the GAB2100DF-4A has a bright orange, red and black design, a nod to the Sally Lightfoot Crab. Each model features a small version of the animal as the indicator hand for the dial in the 9 o’clock position.
The G-Shock GA-B2100 is a hybrid watch, with two analog hands and a small inset digital display. With Bluetooth connectivity, users can access features like auto time adjustment and a phone finder via the Casio Watches smartphone app. There are 38 time zones on offer, as well as tools like daily alarms, hourly time signals, a stopwatch and a timer. The calendar is fully automatic, and the double LED backlight ensures you can read the watch in lower lighting. Plus, the model has the Carbon Core Guard structure and is water resistant to 200 m.
