The Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300D watches are now available in various European countries. Three versions of the hybrid model, inspired by the world of racing, have been released in this market: the ECB-2300D-1A, the ECB-2300D-2A and the ECB-2300DC-1A.
You can now buy these Casio Edifice watches at the brand’s online stores in countries such as the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. The ECB-2300D-1A, a silver watch with a black dial and red accents, retails for €249. Similarly, the ECB-2300D-2A, another silver watch but with a blue dial, is priced at €249. The range-topping ECB-2300DC-1A, a black ion-plated version of the timepiece with blue and white elements, costs €299.
Each of the Edifice watches has a lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced resin and stainless steel casing, measuring 50.2 x 45.8 x 10.9 mm (~2.0 x 1.8 x 0.4 inches) and weighing 122 g (4.3 oz). It features arm-shaped lugs, mimicking the double-wishbone suspension seen on some Formula racing cars. Plus, these watches come with a stainless steel strap and are water resistant to 10 bar. Features of these Casio timepieces include Bluetooth connectivity, support for world time and Tough Solar charging. They also offer a stopwatch, a timer and multiple alarms. Plus, the time is shown on both the analog face and the inset digital displays, which can also show the date and day of the week.
Two of these Casio Edifice models are available in Japan, where they are known as the ECB-2300YD-1A and the ECB-2300YDC-1A. Whether or when any of these analog-digital watches could be released in markets like the US or the UK is unclear.
