Special Edition Casio G-Shock Frogman watch now available in another country

Casio has released the new G-Shock Frogman GW-8200TPF-1 watch in the UK. This model was rumored multiple times earlier this year and has since officially launched in the brand’s home market of Japan.

You can now buy the Casio G-Shock Frogman GW-8200TPF-1 watch at the brand’s online store in the UK for £619. Here, customers are offered free shipping in two to four working days, and will currently get a free pair of G-Shock Socks with their order. The product listing notes that this watch is excluded from voucher codes. This watch was also available at the brand’s physical store in London as of December 5th, though it was noted in an Instagram post that availability was limited.

The Casio G-Shock GW-8200TPF-1 has a striking fluorescent green and black design, with three stripes mimicking those of the poison dart frog. The watch’s resin outer bezel and band have a frog skin-like texture, and the brand’s diving frog logo has been engraved into the metal case back. The model has a titanium inner bezel, with the watch measuring 52.0 x 50.2 x 18.0 mm (~2.05 x 1.98 x 0.71 inches) and weighing 84 g (~3.0 oz).

Casio’s GW-8200TPF-1 is an ISO standard 200 m diving water resistance diver's watch with a digital display. Users can view dive times, surface interval measurements, moon data and tide graphs on the watch. It supports 31 time zones, and there are also tools like a stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. The LED Super Illuminator helps you to read the screen in the dark. Plus, Tough Solar charging allows it to be powered by indoor or outdoor light.

Whether or when this special edition model will roll out more widely in Europe, or be released in countries like the US, remains to be seen.
