A new leak points to an upcoming G‑Shock collaboration with Japanese shochu label iichiko Super, built on the metal‑bezel GM‑5600U square. The screenshots show promotional artwork for an iichiko Super × G‑Shock event, plus close‑ups of the watch itself.
The model in the images features a stainless‑steel bezel, negative digital display and a custom strap with a vertical red stripe and blue tip with iichiko Super’s bottle colors. The strap and keeper carry the iichiko Super logo, while the screw‑back case is engraved with a bottle motif, "iichiko Super" text and "EST 1992," surrounded by the standard G‑Shock shock‑resist emblem.
Going by the event artwork, the release date is Friday, January 16, with the venue given as Daikanyama UNiT and the phrase "Entrance Free!!," which means a release party will be held with music and drinks rather than a conventional retail launch. Also, there's another accompanying caption in the leak, which describes the model as a GM‑5600U‑based limited edition that will be distributed by lottery at the event before any wider sale via iichiko’s online channels.
Casio has not yet announced this collaboration through official product pages or press releases, so specifications beyond the standard GM‑5600U feature set, like shock resistance, 200‑meter water resistance and core digital functions, are still unconfirmed. However, the quality of the packaging design, the caseback and the event materials strongly indicate a tightly controlled release for fans of both G‑Shock and Japanese shochu culture.
