The Casio G-Shock Baby-G x Madhappy watch has been released worldwide. This is a limited edition digital watch, and it is the first collaboration model for the Japanese watch brand and the Los Angeles clothing company.
The Baby-G BG169MH-7, or BG-169MH-7, is described as a “retro-futuristic” watch with a “playful” design. It features two light background digital displays, surrounded by a bright pink glitter-look frame. There are protective bull bars, and the casing and strap are made from white resin. The Mahhappy logo can be seen when the LED backlight is illuminated, and it is also engraved on the case back and printed near the lower strap.
The BG-169 is a Shock Resistant watch, offering 200 m water resistance and around three years of battery life. It supports world time, with users offered a choice of 30 cities. Plus, there are tools like a 24-hour range countdown timer, a 1/100th second stopwatch, five alarms and hourly time signals. The Telememo feature allows you to store up to 25 sets of contact data, each with a name and phone number. On top of this, the Day Counter function can quickly calculate the number of days between a chosen date and the current day.
You can buy the Casio G-Shock Baby-G x Madhappy BG169MH-7 watch in the US at the Madhappy store for $135.00; it is out of stock at Casio’s online store, where it is priced at $120.00. In the UK, it retails for £99.90, and it costs €105.00 in EU countries like Germany.
