Casio is set to release another G-Shock collaboration watch in the near future. This product will mark the opening of the Porter Kobe concept store in Japan, the second of the brand’s physical outlets in this country. Porter is a Japanese accessories brand from Yoshida & Co.
This Casio G-Shock x Porter Kobe collab watch is based on the DW-5600 model. The two teaser images of the product appear to show a black resin casing and strap, with turquoise accents. These include functional text and the G-Shock logo on the bezel, as well as the Potr sub-brand and Yoshida & Co. logos on the band.
This DW-5600 has a rectangular digital display, with the typical light background and dark figures used in this case. Features of this model include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, hourly time signals and a multi-function alarm. The display can be illuminated with an LED backlight, allowing users to read the screen in low lighting. Plus, they are offered a choice of 12 and 24 hour formats, and the calendar is fully automatic to the year 2099. The watch is water resistant to 200 m and should run for around five years on a CR2016 battery.
The Casio G-Shock x Porter Kobe watch is expected to be available exclusively at the store when it opens on January 10th 2026. At the time of writing, it is unclear how much this product will cost; as a guide, in Japan, DW-5600 watches retail for between ¥14,300 and ¥19,800 ($92 and $127).
