A new Casio G-Shock MRG-B2100D watch is rumoured to be launching soon. This second colorway, model number MRG-B2100D-2A, will join the older MRG-B2100D-1A watch, which was launched in October 2024.
The Casio G-Shock MRG-B2100D-2A will have the same silver colored titanium casing and bracelet as its predecessor, as well as a matching Cobarion alloy bezel. However, the MRG-B2100D-2A will have a blue-green dial; the original version had a black dial. As before, the watch face features a kigumi-inspired geometric pattern. Its lattice structure allows light to reach the solar panel, which is used to power the watch.
Casio’s MRG-B2100 is an analog watch with radio control (Multiband 6). The model has three hands, a basic date display, and a day of the week indicator. Bluetooth connectivity enables automatic time adjustments, and through the Casio Watches app, users can also access tools like phone finder. Plus, the watch’s Super Illuminator LED backlight helps you to tell the time in low lighting.
Recent rumors suggest that the Casio G-Shock MRG-B2100D-2A will be released at some point in January 2026, though the brand has yet to officially announce this watch. It is expected to retail for ¥ 572,000 (~$3,665), the same price as the MRG-B2100D-2A. For context, this older watch is priced at $4,700 in the US and €4,200 in EU countries like Germany.
