Zepp Health is rolling out another update for the Amazfit Active 2 round, Active 2 Premium Round and Active 2 Square smartwatches. The version 6.9.0.1 release has arrived a month after the last update for these wearables.
The older software version 6.7.0.1, released in December 2025, was said to bring the BioCharge energy level monitoring tool to the Active 2 smartwatch. However, some users of earlier units of these wearables reported that they could not access this feature. Now, with version 6.9.0.1, BioCharge is available for all users, including those with smartwatches which have 32MB of PSRAM.
The change log for software version 6.9.0.1 also brings other new improvements to Active 2 watch users. Workout voice prompts are said to have been refreshed, and you will automatically return to the watch face upon clearing all of your notifications. There are also said to be optimizations for Weather and Sleep Score, and the user experience when adjusting display brightness from the Control Center has been improved.
Updates for the Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch (Premium Round curr. $129.99 at Amazon) typically roll out in phases, reaching users in the US, Canada and China first. When it is available in your region, you will be able to download and install this update via the Zepp app.
