More details about the upcoming Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 smartwatch appear to have been leaked. This wearable was spotted in the code behind a recent app update, suggesting that it was nearing launch. As its name indicates, it builds on the older T-Rex Ultra, which was released in 2023.
Posts in the 4PDA forum seem to reveal more information about the unreleased Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2. Two users suggest that this new premium smartwatch will have a 1.5-inch screen, possibly using MicroLED technology, with over 3,000 nits brightness. However, there are conflicting rumors about its casing material. One poster mentions a titanium alloy TC4 casing, with 100m dive certification. Another leaker points to a 316L stainless steel case with "dirt-resistant" buttons.
Rumors features of the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 include support for the Zepp Flow AI assistant, new BioTracker sensors for improved health monitoring, and various diving-related tools. It could also offer satellite messaging and an SOS functionality. It has been suggested that this smartwatch will have a 700 mAh battery for somewhere between 25 and 35 days of battery life with typical use.
The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 smartwatch is expected to be released in Q1 2026, sometime before the end of March. It could be that it is unveiled at MWC 2026 in Barcelona in early March. As for its price, these leaks indicate that it could land anywhere between $449 and $549. For context, the T-Rex 3 Pro, another premium watch from the brand, retails for $399.99 (Amazon).
