The Garmin Approach S70 smartwatch is receiving System Software 25.11. This golfing wearable was last updated around four months ago with the version 23.20 release, which added support for a device passcode.
With System Software 25.11, users of the Approach S70 are receiving a series of bug fixes. Garmin indicates that it has fixed a problem with Map Manager, where map updates were not installed as expected. These watches should no longer crash when ending a golf round, and an issue where users could not properly edit weights in a Strength activity has been resolved.
On top of this, there is a fix for the title of the Sleep Mode settings menu. Plus, Garmin has tackled a problem where wrist heart rate recording would not automatically start when it had previously been disabled for a particular activity.
This stable version 25.11 update is now available for all users of the Approach S50 smartwatch (curr. $705.99 at Amazon Marketplace). You can manually download this update via the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone or the Garmin Express software on your computer.
