A new Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch update is currently rolling out to users. This is the third release for these wearables to arrive in January 2026, following soon after the earlier 4.3.8.2 and 4.3.8.4 updates.
The latest release for the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro, firmware version 4.4.1.3, is an 11.51MB file. Reported by multiple users, it adds a new Podcast app to this smartwatch, enabling users to listen to downloaded episodes directly from their wearable. To do this, users will need to transfer their selected podcasts from the Zepp smartphone app.
The other changes listed in the version 4.4.1.3 release notes were also included in a recent T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch update. They are all bug fixes, resolving issues like incorrect distances shown during Rucking workouts, page stuttering and Workout Start Page display anomalies. The company has also tackled problems linked to muscle highlights on a Strength Training pre-workout page, lane selection lag for Track Run, and re-routing during workouts. You can view the complete change log in the screenshot below.
Users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch (curr. $249.99 at Amazon) should note that this could be a phased rollout. Usually, such updates arrive in the US, Canada and China first. However, it has also been reported by users in the EU, suggesting a broader release.
