The Honma x Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is technically almost identical to the regular Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, but the collaboration with the Japanese golf equipment manufacturer Honma also results in some adjustments. Most notably, Huawei equips this version of the smartwatch with a golden titanium bezel.
The black sports band is detailed with a Honma logo and a golden buckle. Moreover, the smartwatch comes with an exclusive Honma watch face. As before, the display is protected by sapphire glass. Software-wise, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is primarily enhanced with new golf features that are intended to help determine the ideal launch angle and distance to the hole, while the so-caled "AI Caddie" is meant to provide professional tips.
The remaining specifications remain unchanged, so our detailed review of the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro should largely apply to the Honma version as well. The smartwatch offers a relatively long battery life of up to 21 days, but the runtime drops to seven days with the always-on display enabled. The round 1.47-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. With microphones, speakers, NFC, GPS, heart rate and SpO2 sensor, ECG, skin temperature sensor, and an altimeter, the smartwatch offers extensive features.
Price and availability
The Honma x Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro will first launch in Malaysia for the equivalent of roughly $330. This makes the Honma version around $50 more expensive than the regular Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro. For this premium, buyers get the smartwatch in a gift box that also contains a golden golf ball.
