Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 appear in official-looking pictures
After the Samsung Galaxy A57 recently emerged in certification pictures, Android Headlines has now published supposedly official product images that show the mid-range smartphone in detail. Apparently, the design barely changes compared to the older Samsung Galaxy A56 (from $369 on Amazon).
Samsung continues to use a display with relatively narrow bezels, a flat frame with a protrusion on the right side that Samsung calls Key Island, and a pill shaped camera module that houses three lenses. According to rumors, the Galaxy A57 will be slightly thinner than its predecessor with a thickness of 0.27 inches. The mid-range smartphone is further expected to offer a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a Samsung Exynos 1680 processor, a 5,000mAh battery and 8GB to 12GB of memory.
Rumors also point to a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera as well as a 12MP selfie camera. Moreover, the Galaxy A57 will probably be a thinner Galaxy A56 with a new processor. The Samsung Galaxy A37 also changes very little from a visual perspective, as the more affordable Samsung phone still features asymmetrical bezels due to the relatively wide chin at the bottom.
Just like the Galaxy A57, the Galaxy A37 is expected to feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging and a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, which is an upgrade compared to the 1/1.96-inch sensor in the Galaxy A36. Samsung is reportedly also opting for an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. The launch of the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57 is expected to take place in the first half of February.
