Huawei has just announced the upcoming launch of the Huawei Watch GT 6 Series, which is scheduled for September 19, 2025. While there isn't much information yet, buyers can secure an early-bird discount in advance.
Those who sign up for the Huawei newsletter before September 19, 2025, will receive an exclusive £50 discount on the new Huawei Watch GT 6 Series. The corresponding coupon code will then be sent on the day of the launch. This early-bird offer differs from region to region. In France, for example, buyers get a 10% discount coupon instead.
As previously mentioned, it's still unclear what new features the Huawei Watch GT 6 series will have. The teaser graphic above unveiled by the company shows a close-up of two versions of the successor to the Huawei Watch GT 5 (Pro), which launched around a year ago. This suggests that the Huawei Watch GT 6 Series will once again feature the octagonal design of the fifth generation. There also appears to be a rotating crown and a button on the right side of the case.
In any case, Huawei will likely add a number of new features to the Watch GT 6 series. According to a leak a few weeks ago, the smartwatch series is based on Harmony OS 5.1 and will again come in two sizes. In addition to a "Star Flash" function, new features could include the ability to use the smartwatch as a digital car key. We will, of course, report back as soon as there is more concrete information about the new Huawei Watch GT 6 Series.
Update 9:04 a.m.: Huawei has now announced a few more details about the Huawei Watch GT 6 Series in a press release. Among other things, the manufacturer promises "revolutionary improvements in endurance and professional features, from comprehensive outdoor activities to varied indoor workouts". In addition to the usual and classic fitness data such as heart rate, calorie consumption and training intensity, the Sunflower Positioning System for particularly precise GPS tracking is also on board.
