Garmin brings improved workout experience to high-end smartwatches with new update

Garmin has started rolling out a new update to the Fenix 8 and co. Replacing Beta Version 21.19, Beta Version 21.20 is said to resolve two rather specific bugs, including one restricted to just the Enduro 3 (curr. $899.99 on Amazon). On the one hand, the new update should resolve an issue that resulted in alarms emitting a single beep on Enduro 3 smartwatches.
On the other hand, all Solar-enabled smartwatches should correctly show Rest Timers during workouts after updating to Beta version 21.20. Confusingly, Garmin refers to its new beta update as Beta Version 21.19 despite issuing this update at the end of last month. However, its changelog makes clear that the new update will reach Beta Program-enrolled smartwatches as Beta Version 21.20.
Early adopters confirm that Garmin has released Beta Version 21.20 too, rather than reissuing Beta Version 21.19. Unfortunately, weight tracking input issues when using the metric system persist between builds. Likewise, it remains unclear at this stage when Garmin will transition v21.xx development to its stable software channel. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
