Razer Barracuda V2 Pro launches with hybrid ANC, multi-platform connectivity

Razer has updated its Barracuda line of headsets with the V2 Pro. It boasts multi-platform connectivity, a lightweight form factor, and noise cancelation. The gaming headset is a premium offering that builds on the design of the Barracuda line. Since this is the Pro model, a cheaper, non-Pro Barracuda V2 could arrive at some point in the future.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro features and specifications
Powered by Razer’s TriForce Bio-Cellulose 40mm driver, the Barracuda V2 Pro supports a 12 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response range, 32 Ω impedance, and THX Spatial Audio+. The 2.4 GHz wireless dongle can be stored inside the left earcup, while at the same time the earcups can be folded for an overall smaller, travel-friendly form factor. The Barracuda V2 Pros use leatherette memory foam cushions for the earpads and a dual-mic system, which includes hidden beamforming mics along with a detachable Razer HyperClear full-band mic.
The gaming headset also comes with hybrid active noise cancelation, multi-platform support, and simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connections. Speaking of which, there are three connectivity options in total, with a wired connection being the third. Razer says with ANC turned off, the Barracuda V2 Pro can last up to 70 hours. The headset weighs
285 grams and does not have any RGB lighting.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro price and availability
Priced at $200, the Barracuda V2 Pro gaming headset is a premium offering. There seems to be a single black color option, and it is available via Razer’s store as well as Amazon.
