Beyerdynamic Aventho Y ANC headphones debut with stylish design and 90-hour runtime
IFAThe Beyerdynamic Aventho Y over-ear wireless ANC headphones have been unveiled at IFA 2026 in Berlin. Their expressive design was created under the idea of 'Hear your why.' The headphones are made for long-term wear with replaceable earpads and batteries.
The Aventho Y was created under a design concept that explores the combination of the signature Beyerdynamic sound with personal expression. From this, a stylish design with curved shapes and angular edges is combined with four colors to evoke unique emotions:
"Peach Blush stands for warmth and closeness, Blue Fusion for peace and relaxation. Soft Jade symbolizes clarity and lightness, while Liquid Black embodies focus and depth."
The aluminum yokes hold large round earcups, with drivers capable of reproducing sound from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The sound and settings can be adjusted using the Beyerdynamic app for Android and Apple smartphones.
Exterior noises can be suppressed using ANC mode while listening to music, while voices can be heard in Transparency mode without removing the headphones.
The Aventho Y can connect to up to two Bluetooth 6.0 audio sources at once, using the standard SBC and AAC audio codecs for wide compatibility.
For gamers, an optional boom mic can be attached, while using an optional USB-C transmitter dongle for lower latency in-game chats.
The 316 g (11.1 oz.) Beyerdynamic headphones are designed for long hours of wear, with 60 hours of rated runtime with ANC on and 90 hours with ANC off. Up to 6 hours of runtime can be added after 5 minutes of quick charging.
When a charger is not available, the Aventho Y can be used as a wired headphone using the included USB-C cable to connect to phones, tablets, and laptops.
